Aldringham Tea Room

Excellent value, especially as they an extensive range of teas available. The homemade fruit scone was very delicious. The owner and staff were super friendly. They also have board games available to use. What a wonderful place and definitely will revisit when again in the area.

A lovely tea room, nicely decorated and everything was very reasonably priced. The food was nice but the dishes it was served in could have been a little larger as it was easy to spill it onto the table trying to get the food out. The service was probably the best I’ve come across, such friendly staff, especially the gray haired lady who took so much trouble to make us feel welcome. A member of staff was loudly reprimanded (presumably by the owner) for not asking customers if they enjoyed their food. I felt desperately sorry for her as the whole tea room heard. This sort of conversation should take place privately as it was embarrassing.

Three generations of women in my family visited Aldringham Tea Room on the Saturday before Mothering Sunday to have afternoon tea. My mum is a big fan of this tea room but Grandma and I were visiting for the first time. We were delighted with the afternoon tea, which was presented very prettily and had a good variety of food. The beetroot hummus and warm sausages were particular highlights! It's a good price and holds its own against much pricier afternoon teas we have had in London. Another highlight were the two lovely ladies working in there, who were very helpful with my grandma's limited mobility. One of them overheard Grandma mention that her chair wasn't well-suited and immediately brought over an alternative before we had a chance to ask! The other lady kindly offered to take our photo to help us remember our day out. It was a lovely outing and we will definitely be going back!

We called in by chance when we saw the Tea rooms on our Travels. First off this is not your normal tea room, it's a little bit different! It's absolutely brilliant, with a great selection of home made food and cakes! The service is second to none. This is what cafes and tea rooms are about, this is not a mega corporate chain, this is a person's passion and business and it shows. Please stop by and support this business. And yes next time.we are in the area we are coming back

Wonderful, we initially called in for coffees and discovered this charming unique tea room. Visited again for dinner, had a creole meal which we found to be excellent. Service was 1st class and very obliging. Thank you for welcoming our beloved

We were made to feel very welcome.I am a gluten free customer and Gina who served us was very helpful. I don't always get good attention and am sometimes made to feel as if I'm a nuisance, but not today. Thank you Gina, we will be back.

Fantastic cafe serving fresh home cooked meals and cakes. Really good value for money and tasty food. Good vegan/vegetarian options too. Friendly staff and also dog friendly as well. Will be back.
